How to Create Ease and Peace of Mind in Your Business.

Having the right mindset contributes to at least 80% of the success or failure in business.

We think that because we are growing a business it has to be hard work.  However I’ve found that when you are expressing your gifts and talents through your work, sharing your authentic value with clients, and you are receiving value in the form of profits, your work becomes so natural that it energizes you.

We view business from a very limited perspective and our ideas of business usually come from the entrepreneurs that surround us, or even our mentors.  We look at someone’s thriving business and we think, “My God! That looks incredibly hard!   There is no way I can do have a business like theirs.” or we think it has to be complicated.

In truth most businesses started with one simple idea.  One simple a-ha moment where an entrepreneur thinks, “I really love this _____!”  I think can make money doing this.

Here are a few tips to help you create ease and peace of mind while you are building and running your business:

    • Start out with the intention to allow building your business to be simple and easy.
    • Ease and peace of mind comes from knowing that you and your business are connected.  (you are one!)
    • Since you are your business are one, your business can guide you!
    • Follow your intuition and inner guidance along the way and create your business from a deep connection to Infinite Intelligence, God, Source, from your DNA (your Divine Natural Alignment)
    • Know where you are going.  I am not a fan of goals however I am a big fan of creating a vision for your business.
    • Practice breathing.  A lot.  Sometimes we hold our breaths and hope for the best, and that is not good for our bodies.  Learn to breathe deeply and appreciate yourself for being in the game of life instead of watching from the side lines.  Breathing is a powerful tool when you are mastering peace of mind and creating ease in your business.

  • Are You Tuned Into the Flow of Abundance in Your Business?

Are You Tuned Into the Flow of Abundance in Your Business?

Do you experience the flow of abundance in your business?

Abundance is all there is! Are you in tuned to the flow of abundance in your life? How about in your business?

At this very moment, you are either experiencing an Abundance of prosperity and supply or an Abundance of lack.

    Which is it for you?

I was working with a client recently who asked me how I come up with so many different ideas that help businesses of various shapes and sizes prosper so easily, and I explained,  “I tune into the abundant flow of ideas that are already out there waiting for someone to take the idea and run with it.  I tune into abundance.”

Then I asked her where in her business she would like to benefit from tuning into abundance.  She laughed and said,  “I’d like to tune into an abundance of referrals so I won’t have to work so hard finding new clients!”

Until she was consciously aware of what she wanted she was unconsciously tuning into it’s opposite- she was tuning into the abundant of lack of referrals instead of the abundant flow of referrals who were excited and ready to work with her.

The same is true for you in your business.  Where in your business would you like to benefit from tuning into abundance?

You’re either experiencing an abundant supply of clients or an abundant of lack of clients.

You are either experiencing an abundant supply of referrals and new ideas or an abundant lack of referrals and new ideas.

    Which is it for you?

When you begin to think in terms of abundance as all there is, you begin to think entirely on a new plane of awareness about what is possible for you and your business.   You begin to see that you have a choice in what you focus on in your business.

The moment you tune into the abundant supply of what you want in your business, your intuition and imagination will begin to give you ideas and plans on how to harvest the supply.    All you have to do if follow the plan and take inspired action to create a tidal wave of prosperity in your business whenever you want it.

Remember, you can have an abundance of headaches, struggles, and stresses in your business OR you can have an abundance of freedom, ease and joy in growing a truly amazing business that serves more and more people every day.

    The choice is yours!

I’d love to hear your stories, leave a comment below and share your experiences how you tune into the abundant supply of prosperity in your business!

  • How Gratitude Can Help Your Bottom Line

How Gratitude Can Help Your Bottom Line

Quite frankly it took a long time for me to really understand and appreciate gratitude for it’s power and simplicity.  I have come to know gratitude as the most powerful feeling you can possibly experience and when I went beyond simply feeling grateful for the things in my life and really started to add gratitude as a part of my business everything changed.

If someone would have told me that gratitude is something that I could turn on at will, or that it was a choice, I might have thought they were crazy!

You see, I thought that in order to feel grateful for anything in life, the people, circumstances and situations around me needed to change… THEN I could feel grateful.  I didn’t realize it was something that I could choose.  When I got this straight in my mind and I started to use gratitude as a tool to see the value in every area of my life, not just the money in the bank, the way I conducted business began to shift from wondering where the next client was going to come from to having an steady stream of referral business.  Now, I’m not saying I’m an expert on gratitude, or that I get it right every time.  I certainly don’t.  But I do make gratitude a priority.  Those circumstances and situations that weren’t so agreeable in the past began to take new form.  The true magic was happening inside of me.  The outside world didn’t change however how I felt about the ebb and flow of life and business did change when I decided to be grateful for all of it!

When I was a teen, my grandmother would send me stationary and packages of thank you cards regularly.  I think she was trying to tell me something!  And to tell you the truth, the only time I used them was to send my grandmother a Thank You card for the Thank You cards!  I was such a results oriented person that I just couldn’t connect with how gratitude could be something that would make any difference in my life.

It seemed so simple to me that the results are revealed in the numbers, but relationships are not built on numbers.  They are built on connection.   And it is the connection we have with people that creates the results!  The relationships we nurture in our business DO create and increase our numbers.

Don’t take my word for it.  This is something you’ll have to experience for yourself, if you are willing.

Not only has gratitude given me a new sense of freedom over my emotions, it has also given me freedom in my business and in my numbers, and for that I am forever grateful.

Gratitude is an emotion that keeps you connected to where you are, where you’ve been, and where you are going.  It keeps you connected to yourself, your friends and family, and to the source of all creation!

I still have to remind myself to use the Thank You Cards that I buy, it is not easy for me to remember, however I make it a priority.

I’d love to hear how you attract more business with gratitude.

Until next time, BE grateful, think BIG, Take Inspired Action, and Enjoy the Journey!

  • How to Manage Fear in Business

How to Manage Fear in Business

    Fear is a Good Thing

Stay with me, as I explain why that is and give you some tools to really pay attention to your fears and use them as a launching board for your new level of success in your business.  I re-read the post I wrote about “The 3 Fears that Stop You From Winning in Business” after someone left a comment and I was inspired to write a follow up post to really help you understand that fear is a good thing.

Now, think of your business and those times that you made a huge leap in results.  If you are a consciously aware business owner, you’ll see how those leaps in results came on the heels of doing something that required a bit of good old fashioned faith and courage!

I know this is true for me.  Creating videos required me to call on huge reserves of faith and courage and as a result my Columbus BizTV channel  “Your Winning Mindset” had more views than the other Columbus BizTV channels in May.  Which led to more exposure, and in turn more people signed up for my free webinar and newsletter, and the results are still coming from my courage to take action in spite of not feeling confident on camera, and wanting to quit an try something new (“Maybe I should do more blogging!”).   I still experience some fear in business, however I’m currently leaping with faith and courage in another area of my business.  It is too soon to share anything tangible so I’ll save that for another post.

  • 3 Fears that Stop You From Winning in Business

3 Fears that Stop You From Winning in Business

Do you know the cause of success and failure in YOUR business?

Most entrepreneurs don’t realize that there are hidden fears keeping them from the success they want. Learn  to recognize these three fears when they arrive so you can take courageous action immediately.

Which of these fears keep you from winning in business?

    1.  The Fear of Failure/Success

The fear of failure and the fear of success have the same symptoms.  You know you suffer from either, if you start many projects and never seem to complete anything! You set goals and can’t seem to move yourself into action. Shift your focus from you and to the good you are providing the world through your product or service.  Complete the projects you start, and try focusing on growth instead of goals.

    2.  The Fear of Poverty

Fear of poverty shows up when you work alone, you rarely seek outside help. You may feel like there just isn’t enough time, or money to go around.  Also you could feel like there is not enough of YOU to go around.

Learning to practice abundance consciousness helps calm the fear of poverty.  Practice using affirmations.

“There is enough time to do all that needs to be done.”

“There is enough money to invest in things that will help my business grow.” And hire competent people to help you when you need it.

Try these affirmation starters: I am enough to…,  I know enough to…, I attract enough to….

    3.  The Fear of Criticism

And finally, the fear of criticism manifests as the inability to make a decision.   This is sometimes masked by the need to constantly bedoing something.  If this sounds like you, stop what you are doing. Then mindfully ask yourself, “What decision am I avoiding making right now?”

Use the “5 Steps to Making Winning Decision” in a previous video and follow up with action!

Don’t let the fear of failure, poverty, or criticism stop you from winning in business or in life!
