Feeling Impatient Getting Your Work Out To The World?

    Getting Your Work Out

I’ve been home from China for almost 2 weeks after traveling with my husband and our two youngest children.  I’m finally feeling like my luminary self again, back on my luminary path activating wealth and wisdom wherever I go. I’m enjoying a nice cool glass of water and I wanted to share some wisdom about getting your work out that might help you this week as you travel your luminary path.

    Trust the Timing

One of my clients was recently telling me about the many possibilities and opportunities that are on the horizon for her.  As she shared the really amazing things that keep coming her way,  I could feel her impatience and frustration that all of these things were still ‘on the horizon’ in the space of possibility and not yet manifest and made real.  Within the conversation she also mentioned that she thinks she may have a money block that is keeping her from taking more action.

Have you ever felt like that?   Have you ever felt impatient with the timing of things and thought that you must have a block that is stopping you from taking action as you share your deepest wisdom with the world?

Trust You are on Your Path

As luminary leaders, teachers, and guides we sometimes feel like we are off our path if things aren’t moving as quickly as we’d like.   Sometimes we have a vision or a glimpse of what is to come, who we are meant to work with next, the growing impact of our message, the expanding ripple effect of our luminary work and we think the next step is to get into massive action in order to manifest it all as soon as possible.

    Trust. Then Trust Some More!

I’ve been here many times.  It is always uncomfortable for me.   It feels like there is something I’m supposed to be doing, but I just can’t put my finger on it.  I think if someone would just tell me exactly what to do (the full plan, not the teeny tiny next step) I’d be able to get back on my path and hit the ground running!

This actually happened to me a few days after returning from China. Staying where I was or moving forward at the pace I was going, was no longer comfortable or even acceptable.   I could feel a calling to something more expanded, more significant, maybe even more authentic, and I wanted to answer that call sooner than later.  A major theme in my life seems to be spiritual impatience.

    Ask for Support

For myself I’ve learned to ask for support from my dearest friends and mentors, those that I trust with my soul’s purpose when I begin to feel spiritually impatient.  I’m still learning.  It took me over 24 hours to reach out this time, in the past it may have taken weeks or months.  I remember holding my breath for an entire year one time.   I’m exaggerating, but you get the picture.

There are no accidents that my clients shared all of her ‘good fortune’ with me.  I let her know what I was experiencing as she talked.  I shared how I felt, and I asked her if any of it resonated with what she was feeling.   She confirmed that although all this was coming her way, she was feeling impatient and uncomfortable going at a snails pace.

    Get Comfortable with Divine Discomfort

Barbara De Angelis, calls this “Divine Discomfort.”  Yup, that is what it feels like to me.  It is also no accident that I was just listening to Barbara’s book, Soul Shifts on the way home from taking my oldest daughter to college the day before.

    Remember who you really are.

Here is the wisdom I’ve learned over the years that I want to share.  When we feel that divine discomfort, disappointment, and even divine dissatisfaction, we haven’t gone off our luminary path.   We are still on it, but our Higher Self is trying to remind us of something important about who we are before we take more action.

Our Higher Self is always trying to remind us who we really are.

And another thing, the blocks we think we have are not really blocks. They are soul revealing reminders.    The divine discomfort and dissatisfaction is an invitation to go a little deeper, look not for the block but for the portal into remembering WHO YOU REALLY ARE.

It can be extremely difficult to try to interpret what our Higher Self is trying to remind us, however when we allow ourselves to share as authentically as possible with a trusted friend, mentor, or guide, it is much easier to find the opening that reveals what is inviting us to go deeper.

    There Are No Guarantees

There is no guaranteed answer as to what your Soul is trying to reveal or remind you.  The wisdom I want to share is that outer action is not always soulution when you feel agitated at a soul level.  The soulution is to remember who you are, to regain your soul center, and align with your higher self before the opportunities manifest.  This helps you sustain the higher vibrational frequencies that the opportunities bring with them.

I have learned to appreciate the feeling of divine discomfort, and to appreciate myself for who I am and what I activate even when I’m not doing anything.

I want this for you too.

  • 5 Steps to Making Decisions in Business

5 Steps to Making Decisions in Business

When you are made a decision to build a business you began a process of attraction.  Most people think that just because they made a decision to build a business, they will attract clients who want to throw money at them.

    Wishful thinking!

What actually happens when you make a decision, is you begin to attract opportunities.   Your decision to grow a business, make money, find more love, really when you make any decision about anything in your life, you begin to attract an abundance of opportunities that lead you to the next step towards manifesting what you want.

    And that is GOOD!

But how do you make a luminary decision and discern the difference between an opportunity for growth and an opportunity to stay on the hamster wheel of frustration and overwhelm?

Years ago I had a conversation with a client who felt called to become a public speaker.  At the time of our conversation he was already highly skilled and passionate about speaking and his income from speaking wasn’t quiet enough to quit his day job.  His desire to answer the call to become a public speaker put him in a high vibrational state where he was attracting a lot of opportunities and he was having a hard time making a decision about which opportunity to say yes to, if any.    I think at the time he had 3 firm opportunities in front of him all of which would have been great in some way, but they were all pointing in slightly different directions.  I don’t remember the details exactly, but two were different job opportunities to work for two different non-profit organizations, both would allow him to travel and speak.   The other was a higher paying job that would allow him to use his leadership skills more, but didn’t include any public speaking. He told me how frustrated and overwhelmed he was trying to decide which opportunity to say yes too.  He was feeling a lot of pressure to decide.  He told me, “I don’t want to make the wrong decision and I’m afraid that if I don’t make a decision now the opportunities will pass.”

After I explained that he can’t make the wrong decision because all opportunities come from Source and all opportunities are for his personal expansion, so they all lead to something pretty amazing, we were able to look at the opportunities individually.  I also explained that the direction the opportunity will flow is set based on our vibrational state at the time we make the decision.  Decisions made from a place of fear will attract more to fear.  Decisions made from the point of view of scarcity will attract more scarcity.  Decisions made from a place of expansion and possibility and trust, will lead to more expansion, possibility and trust.  That is how the law of attraction works.  Our ability to choose is our most powerful superpower.

I shared this five step decision making process that can really help you line up your energy with Source so you can make an empowered choice and feel confident in your choice:

    Step One:  Identify the Opportunity.

Go through the opportunities in front of you one at a time.  With this client, I had him list each opportunity and look at each one individually to see where his energy was most aligned.  I encouraged him to list everything he knew about each opportunity.

Step Two:  Ask yourself “ Do I WANT to do this?”

When I asked my client, “Do you want to do this?” He said yes to each of the opportunities except the one where he would make more money and not have opportunities to speak.  I didn’t cross it off the list yet as I wasn’t 100% sure he was saying no to it from a vibration of abundance.

Step Three: Ask Yourself, “Do I feel guided, or called to say yes to this opportunity?”

This is the most powerful question, especially for luminary leaders who are experienced in knowing how they really feel.  An opportunity that will get you closer to your calling and your life purpose, will have sort of a pull of attraction that goes beyond mental reasoning.  Your body will feel like it is magnetically attracted to the opportunity, as if it were actually calling you forward through an invisible force.  For this client, he felt called to one of the non-profit positions that required him to speak to large groups of people.

Step Four: Ask Yourself, “Does this opportunity add more life to everyone involved?”

This question should be an easy one to answer, however there are a lot of coaches, mentors, and leaders who are operating out of integrity with themselves.  Divine opportunities that are truly designed to move you closer to or expand your life’s work will add more life to everyone involved.  The person who is bringing you the opportunity will be increased, your family will be increased, you will be increased, and any 3rd parties will be increased by a divine opportunity.  If the opportunity is one where you feel you are getting something for nothing then check in with your guidance or ask the person bringing the opportunity to you what do they expect to gain from the opportunity.  Listen to your heart.  Alignment will be easy if the opportunity is something where everyone is increased by your decision.  In the case of my client, one of the non-profit positions felt like the opportunity was given to him from out of a scarcity mindset where he would not be valued as much as he would be at the other non-profit position.

Step Five: Ask Yourself, “Does this opportunity violate the rights of others? Does it take away their right to choose?  Will anyone be harmed?”

This is another question that should really go without question.   None of the opportunities took away anyone’s right to choose, nor did they harm anyone, or violate their rights, however the question did create an opening for him to talk to his wife more openly about what the opportunity he felt called to take might mean for them as a family.  Thankfully he was skilled in authentically sharing what he really wanted with his wife and she was will him so they were able to both participate in the decision making process even though in the end it really was my client’s choice.

In the end, my client chose one of the non-profit positions and he traveled and spoke to about 50 audiences in one year.  He started being invited to speak to other audiences and now he makes his living as a full time public speaker.

  • What is your Divine Intention?

    What is your Divine Intention?

    What is your Divine Intention?

Recently, after sharing insights on physical and psychological intentions in a previous post, I had an enlightening conversation with one of my spiritual mentors.  They introduced a beautiful concept of Divine Intention,   which goes beyond the mundane to something more natural and profoundly inherent within us.   I hope you find that this wisdom helps you bridge the gap between intention and inspiration like it did for me.

[View an updated post from Dawn on Divine Intention.]

    The Essence of Divine Intention

Divine Intention isn’t something we create – it’s something we uncover within ourselves.  What I described in the previous post as Intention is mostly physical or psychological intention.   He shared that our Intention is our God particle. He describes it as our “God particle,” the essence that defines our truest selves, untouched by external expectations— from family, friends, or society.

    Being True to Yourself

My personal quest is to embrace my true self, the ‘me’ that resonates with my deepest desires and aspirations, free from the influences of others. Divine Intention means living fully in each moment, expressing our highest potential without reservation or concealment.

Divine Intention is not something we set, it is something we discover that is already in us.  I love this definition of intention.

    The Power of Divine Intention

When we align with our Divine Intention, life flows more synchronously. Inspirations become frequent, and what some may call miracles seem to occur naturally. The universe begins to support us in profound ways, helping us evolve into our fullest selves.

My Intention is to be ME, not the me that someone else wants me to be, not the me that my mom thought I should be, not the me that my husband wants me to be, not the me that my kids want me to be, but my intention is to be the ME I want to be.  My Divine Intention is to live as fully expressed in each moment as I can be.  For me, that means there is no hiding, or holding back my highest service.

The part of us that calls us forward from within, is who we really are.  It is our God Particle, our Divine Intention.  Everything else is just ‘matter’ or the physical stuff we are made of.

So beautiful!  Our Divine Intention is our God Particle.  It is the creative force within us.

    Identifying Your Divine Intention

If you’re uncertain about your Divine Intention or are still exploring who you are beyond societal labels, try this simple Self-Appreciation Exercise:

    1. Relax and Reflect: Sit in a comfortable position and tune into your feelings about your Divine Intention.
    2. Appreciate Your Emotions: Whether you feel anxious, hopeful, or uncertain, appreciate your awareness of these emotions.
    3. Let Go: Without trying to analyze or figure everything out, allow yourself to be inspired by your Higher Self, tapping into the God particle within.

    What is your Divine Intention?

Who do you want to BE?

Over time, as you engage in this practice, you’ll begin to recognize and remember your true essence and what your Divine Intention really is.
